PADI Tec 40 Trimix option

Instead of Air or Enriched air nitrox as bottom gas used during PADI Tec 40 diver course, divers have option choosing trimix as bottom gas with maximum of 35% helium and not less than 21% oxygen in their mix.

PADI Tec 40 divers can benefit greatly by using helium in their bottom mixes. Helium reduces amount of nitrogen in the mix and automatically reduces not only nitrogen narcosis but also gas density. Therefore, divers using trimix will have clear head at depth and easier work of breathing comparing to divers using air.
