Introduction to Nitrox
TDI Nitrox Diver Course is an entry-level course for divers wishing to continue their diver education and utilize enriched air nitrox as a breathing gas to extend their no-decompression limits at depth.
Nitrox, also called Enriched air or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. No wonder Enriched Air Diver is the most popular specialty course.
After completing this course, you will be able to dive utilizing EAN-22 to EAN-40 without direct supervision.
Also, this course is prerequisite to enroll in more advanced technical diving courses such as TDI Advanced Nitrox and TDI Decompression Procedures.
Who this course is for:
- Certified diver who has interest in moving forward with technical diving education
- Open water diver who is interested in learning more about nitrox mixtures
- Open water diver who is interested in extending their bottom time
